2025-26 Visiting Writer Series Reading: Lucy Corin

Please join the English Department in welcoming this year's first visiting writer, novelist and short story writer Lucy Corin. Corin will read a selection of her work. This programming is funded by the College of Arts and Sciences.

Lucy Corin is the author of two novels, Swank Hotel (Graywolf, 2021), and Everyday Psychokillers: A History for Girls (Fc2, 2004), as well as the short story collections One Hundred Apocalypses and Other Apocalypses (McSweeney's Books, 2013), and The Entire Predicament (Tin House Books, 2007).  She is also the recipient of an American Academy of Arts and Letters Rome Prize, a literature fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and a 2023 Guggenheim fellowship. Corin currently teaches at the University of California at Davis and lives in Berkeley.
