This discussion panel is the second of a four-part series of events organized by graduate students in the Scripps College of Communication’s MFA Communication Media Arts program, and in collaboration with the School of Visual Communication, to explore, think and debate on the advancement, disruptions, and ethical complexities Artificial Intelligence (AI) has and will potentially bring to the editorial media production industry. Speakers of the event are photojournalism veterans and leaders Santiago Lyon of Adobe’s Content Authenticity Initiative and Rickey Rogers of Reuters News Agency. This event will be hosted by Graduate Director and Professor Stan Alost of the School of Visual Communication and moderated by Loriene Perera, a first-year MFA Communication Media Arts student.
