The Applied Finance Center’s Professional Engagement Series continues this month with a special presentation hosted by the Student Equity Management Group (SEMG). The featured speaker is Joshua Hemmert, a 2005 Ohio University graduate and one of the founding members of SEMG. Josh spent over 20 years at JPMorgan, where he managed an investment portfolio with more than $150 billion in assets under management, and he currently serves as an Investment Consultant at BMT Management and Financial Consultants. A published author in Barron’s and a highly respected name in asset management, Josh will share insights from his extensive career in the industry. Students will also have the unique opportunity to see how an SEMG meeting is conducted while learning directly from a seasoned investment professional. The event will take place Wednesday, February 18th from 6:00–7:00 p.m. in Bentley 124.
