About this EventAdd to calendar
This episode features OHIO President Emeritus Roderick J. McDavis, a Bobcat himself and the University’s first Black president. A 45-year veteran of higher education, McDavis, who is now the managing principal at executive search firm AGB, led OHIO’s $500 million fundraising campaign, the development of urban and Appalachian scholars programs, and other firsts for the University. He also helped create the state’s first guaranteed tuition plan.
Join us to hear his journey from childhood, to receiving his bachelor’s degree in education in 1970 -- the year OHIO closed after the Kent State shootings -- to becoming only the second alumnus to lead his alma mater.
You will receive a confirmation email upon registration that will include details on how to join this virtual event. This event will be hosted on Feb. 24 at both 12 p.m. EST and 7 p.m. EST -- choose what's best for you!
