Earth Day Action: Join Fellow Bobcats for Habitat Restoration!

Bobcats, it’s time to give back to our city! This Earth Day, join the Ohio University Los Angeles Alumni Network as we partner with Friends of the LA River for a Habitat Restoration Event! Together, we’ll help remove invasive plants and restore the natural ecosystem of LA’s river habitat.

📆 Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
⏰ Time: 8:45 a.m.-12 p.m. (Second Shift)
📍 Location: Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, 6350 Woodley Ave., Van Nuys, CA 91436
    ➡️ Google Maps Users: Type in “Woodley Archery Range” to arrive at the correct spot.
    ➡️ Apple Maps Users: Type in “Woodley Park Archers” for the correct location.

What to Bring:
☀️ Hat & sunscreen – It’ll be sunny!
👟 Sturdy shoes and long pants – We’ll be digging into the preserve!
🧤 Gloves provided, but feel free to bring your own!
🌱 I’ll be bringing a spade to make uprooting stubborn plants easier!
