As part of our celebration of Native American Heritage Month, local educator Dan Harmon, who lived in the Qualla Boundary (home of the Eastern Band of Cherokee) and has traveled to as many as 30 reservations across the United States, will share a presentation on The Hidden Story of the Wounded Knee Massacre on Friday, Nov. 3.

The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the Bowman Auditorium and is open to the public.
