Dr. Haley Duschinski, a legal anthropologist and Critical Kashmir Studies scholar, will share her insights into the cultural, legal, and politics logics of occupation, settler colonialism, and resistance in the contested region of Indian-administered Kashmir. She will discuss the impact of the 2019 abrogation that changed the special autonomous status of Kashmir in India, as well as the possibilities and limitations of United Nations intervention on the Kashmir conflict.
