Transform Your Sport Coaching to Transform Athletes' Experiences.

This introductory 45-minute webinar is designed for parents, teachers, and first-time coaches who want to create fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate sport environments. Led by Dr. Ashley Allanson, Associate Professor of Instruction—Coaching, Health, & PE.

Participants will learn foundational coaching principles, effective communication strategies, and practical coaching methods to support athlete development, confidence, and motivation, while creating an environment that fosters empowerment, teamwork, respect, and a lifelong love of sport.

This is the second workshop of Patton Beyond the Classroom, a series extending Patton’s real-world, people-centered faculty expertise to alumni.
