Join your fellow Columbus-area Bobcats, family, and friends in celebrating Bobcat Beautification Month!

The Ebony Bobcat Network Columbus and Columbus Alumni Network, in partnership with Urban Strategies, Inc., are working with the community to promote literacy and foster peace, love, and joy at Legacy Pointe at Poindexter, a historic public housing site in Columbus, Ohio. Approximately 20 volunteers are needed to assist with cleanup efforts and literacy initiatives.

Volunteer Opportunity:

• Date: April 26 from 10:00 a.m.-Noon
• Tasks: Cleaning internal and external areas of the 330-unit property
• Literacy Program: Supporting the 2nd annual Bobcat Reading Corner and donating books through the Amazon Wishlist. Visit the Wishlist. 

Urban Strategies also is collaborating to bring tutors to the community for ongoing literacy support. Parking and meeting details will be provided to registered volunteers.
