The Community Mental Health Awareness Conference at Ohio University Southern brings together students, educators, professionals, and community members from across the Tri-State to reduce stigma and strengthen support for mental health and neurodiversity.
This year’s keynote speakers include Dr. Jason Roop, CEO of the Center for Trait-Based Transformation, and educator and advocate Lindsay Rice. Breakout sessions will explore topics such as trauma-informed practices, the science of resilience, executive function and emotional regulation, storytelling as a mental wellness tool, and career readiness strategies for neurodivergent students.
Admission:
Free for all high school and college students
$35 for general public and professionals
Continuing Education Credits:
CEUs available for educators and mental health professionals in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia
