Communiversity Recovery Event: “Every Individual, Every Family, Every Community” on Sept. 27

Campus and community members are invited to celebrate national recovery month at the Communiversity Recovery Event: “Every Individual, Every Family, Every Community” on Sept. 27 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. in the Baker Center Ballroom.

This free event is sponsored by the Gathering Place and the Ohio University College of Health Sciences & Professions.

Schedule of Events

3 - 6 p.m.:  Outreach Fair with Community Service Agencies, Recovery Organizations and Ohio University Departments

Giveaways include:

• Vouchers for City-Wide Annual Bus Pass, Bicycles, Backpacks with Personal care items, Food  and more
• Narcan and Fentanyl Strips Give Away for Harm Reduction

6- 6:45 p.m.-Panel with Ohio Youth Move-Harm Reduction

7 - 8 p.m.- Entertainment: Mentalist Craig Karges, known for his combination of the art of magic and the power of intuition on stage
