Ready to Read? Join Us This Semester!

Honors students who love to read or who want to read more (New Year’s Resolution?) are invited to several happenings: Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) hour with HTC Dean Bross. Twice a month, the dean will be curling up with a good book for an hour of joyful reading, alternating between the lounge in 35 Park and the Library in Jefferson Hall. Bring a book, say hello to fellow readers, and unplug for a while.

DEAR Hour Dates: 

• Thursday, January 22, 4-5pm in Jefferson Hall Library
• Wednesday, February 4, 4-5 pm in 35 Park Place
• Thursday, February 18, 4-5 pm in 35 Park Place
• Wednesday, March 4, 4-5 pm in Jefferson Hall Library

If you are looking for a book for DEAR hour, pick one up at the brand new Community Library Collection on the 4th floor of Alden Library. Honors, in partnership with the Athens Public Library and OHIO Libraries has created this collection of popular titles, open for borrowing on the honors system. Take a book, bring it back when you’re done.
