You are cordially invited to attend a virtual town hall meeting to learn and ask questions about the Ebony Bobcat Network Urban Scholarship Endowment (EBN USE) on Thursday, March 26, from 7–8:30 p.m. EDT.

This meeting will feature:

  • Dr. Roderick J. McDavis, 20th president of Ohio University
  • Gregory Simmons, Vice President of University Advancement
  • EBN Urban Scholarship recipients

This town hall meeting will focus on how the EBN Urban Scholarship Endowment helps students from urban communities achieve their educational dreams. As we approach Ohio University Giving Day on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, this town hall offers an opportunity to learn how you can support the EBN Urban Scholarship Endowment and future generations of Bobcats!

The event is sponsored by the EBN National Endowment Committee, with the EBN Cincinnati/Dayton Affiliate serving as host. EBN national leadership, along with representatives from all of its affiliates, Akron/Canton, Cleveland, Columbus, DMV, and Florida Statewide, will be present and extend the invitation to join them for this informative conversation. Please register for this event by Monday, March 16, 2026. Those who register will be given an opportunity to submit questions about the EBN USE to be addressed during the town hall.

Register now!

If you have any questions, please contact Stella Antwine, EBN National Endowment Committee Chairperson, at ebn.nb.endowment@gmail.com. If you need help with event registration, contact Advancement Events at eventsadv@ohio.edu.

Support the Ebony Bobcat Network Urban Scholarship Endowment!
The Ebony Bobcat Network (EBN) Urban Scholarship Endowment (USE) is an Ohio University fund created to provide tuition support for high-achieving, underrepresented students in the Urban Scholars Program. It represents the efforts of many Bobcat alumni to support young urban scholars who attend OHIO and to help them thrive academically. Through June 30, 2026, donations to the EBN USE are eligible for a 50% match ($0.50 for every $1.00) from the Ohio University Foundation.

During the final registration step for this event, you will be able to make your gift. If you are unable to attend this event or would like to donate separately from the registration process, visit our Giving page.
