The First Generation Affinity Group is an in-person, drop-in support space held weekly and offered by Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS). In this space, first-generation students can share their experiences in a supportive group setting, without a full semester commitment. This group is open to any first-gen student at Ohio University and students do not have to be a current CPS client to attend. This service does not replace individual or group mental health treatment.
