 r students to practice taking artistic risks\, either as originators or par
 ticipants on innovative projects. We seek clear and strong ideas from artis
 ts. During the Fringe Festival\, students gain valuable practice in generat
 ing their own work and necessary practice in clearly communicating their id
 eas to an executive committee. The Fringe Festival will be an incubator for
  Ohio University students to generate new ideas and develop their artistic 
 voice that they carry out of the bounds of the campus and into the world. B
 y definition\, “fringe” means to be at the border\, or outer edges\, of an 
 area or group. The festival producing team hopes to see works that teeter o
 n the edge of live performance.\n\nFor the 2025 Fringe Festival\, we are ex
 cited to welcome three featured projects created by outside professionals!
