nVarious Locations\n\nView Program Here\n\nThe Fringe Festival is housed w
ithin the Ohio University School of Theater in partnership with the Colleg
e of Fine Arts. Our vision is to have sustained and abundant opportunities
for students to practice taking artistic risks\, either as originators or
participants on innovative projects. We seek clear and strong ideas from
artists. During the Fringe Festival\, students gain valuable practice in g
enerating their own work and necessary practice in clearly communicating t
heir ideas to an executive committee. The Fringe Festival will be an incub
ator for Ohio University students to generate new ideas and develop their
artistic voice that they carry out of the bounds of the campus and into th
e world. By definition\, “fringe” means to be at the border\, or outer
edges\, of an area or group. The festival producing team hopes to see wor
