 ervational study that covered more than 700 higher education courses in a 
 range of contexts\, from regional public universities to highly ranked pri
 vate universities\, from small liberal arts colleges to large flagship uni
 versities. She examines what each type of institution typically excels at 
 and where they often fall short.\n\nLearning Outcomes\n\nFollowing this se
 ssion\, participants will\n\nIdentify practices associated with exemplary 
 teaching institutions.Compare those practices with structural and teaching
  excellence definitions at OHIO.Reflect on their own implementation of the
 se practices in their units or departments.Identify strategies to support
