About:

Learn about an enduring tradition, timeless art of henna body art and wonderful artistry of beautiful patterns which comes with practice and control. This course allows students to get in touch with their creative side, and learn the methods required when using natural henna paste to achieve beautiful, flowing pieces of body artwork.

You’ll leave this course with:

- Basic flow & simple patterns
- Henna preparation
- Techniques & henna application
- Henna aftercare
- Each student will receive a custom henna design
- Understanding of history of henna
- Understanding of henna safety.

Community Education workshops are open to the general public regardless of educational background.

Community Education workshops are non-credit and do not carry credit applicable toward an Ohio University degree or transfer to other institutions.
