More About Tynita
Tynita White, BA ’11, MPA ’13, embarked on her career in public service as a member of the 2014 Ohio Legislative Service Commission Fellowship Program. She became coordinator of the program later that year and subsequently was named the program’s administrator, the position she has held since 2019. With a passion for helping recent college grads launch careers in public service, Tynita has had the pleasure of working with over 200 LSC fellows, any of whom could become Ohio’s, and the nation’s, future leaders.
The Ohio General Assembly, through the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, has sponsored the Legislative Fellowship Program for over 50 years. Each year LSC, the nonpartisan legislative agency that provides drafting, fiscal, research and training for the state’s legislators, funds 23-24 full-time, paid, 13-month legislative fellowship positions designed to provide college graduates with practical experience in the legislative process. This experience often leads to permanent employment opportunities in the legislature, state government or related areas. Information about the program is available on the LSC website.
