Judi Crane (Ohio University Class of 1973) will speak about her experiences supporting and protecting US Department of Defense families in times of crisis and share lessons on how to manage and lead in crisis situations.


This event is presented by War and Peace Studies and The Center for International Studies.


Judi Crane worked for the U.S. Department of Defense supporting U.S. military and their families assigned to US embassies around the world. In her role with the DoD, Judi was responsible for assisting US military, diplomats and their families living abroad with a wide range of needs, including assisting with the educational process of their children in international schools and helping families evacuate countries quickly in times of crisis. Prior to her work for U.S. DoD, Judi worked as an educator for 20 years.
