This presentation will discuss strategies for including authentic materials in your foreign language curriculum and examples of designing tasks based on the 3 modes of communication. It will also discuss how to introduce the target culture through some hands-on activities.

Dr. Mohamed Amira is Professor of Arabic at St. Louis University High and an alumnus of the MA Applied Linguistics program at Ohio University, and former Visiting Professor.
