OHIO Chillicothe invites the public to a portfolio showcase of works created during the:

Mapping the Self: Identities in Appalachia project 

This showcase is free and open to the Public

About Mapping The Self:

The Mapping the Self: Identities in Appalachia project was developed as part of an Experiential Learning grant (https://www.ohio.edu/acel/experiential-learning) awarded to OHIO Chillicothe.

22 OHIO Chillicothe students and 5 community members will be participating in a blended art and writing project every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 3:30 pm from August 22 - December 10, 2022.

The goal of these classes is to create a multi-genre map of personal histories, explore identities, view & discuss art, and participate in interactive workshops with other writers. Local community members participate for free in this non-credit bearing coursework.

Currently, the community seats are full for classroom participation, but there is a wait list for those interested.
