Dr. Lucy Bucher is an Ob/Gyn and associate VP of Clinical Affairs at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, OH . For this Breast Cancer Awareness event, Dr. Bucher will give a talk about various breast cancer risk factors and screening guidelines. Being an LGBTQIA+ advocate, Dr. Bucher will give her insight about breast cancer screening barriers and disparities for people in this community as well as other marginalized populations. Additionally, Dr. Bucher will walk students through the steps of how to do a self-breast exam and at the end, will open the floor to any questions the students have. Light Refreshments will be served.
