Join the Ohio University Foundation for a special event on Thursday, July 17, 2025, during Week 4 of the Chautauqua Institution.

This event will feature distinguished guest speakers, Matthew Ando and Fred Drogula, who will share their insights with a conversation and discussion about "The Role of Universities and Higher Education" as positioned around Chautauqua's theme for the week, "The Future of the American Experiment." 

Matthew Ando is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University and his biography may be found at https://www.ohio.edu/cas/mando.

Fred Drogula is the Charles J. Ping Professor of Humanities and Classics at Ohio University and his biography may be found at https://www.ohio.edu/cas/drogula.

The discussion will be hosted by Jacquelin Weber, classes of 1996 and 2022.
