Join us for QPR Suicide Prevention Training on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 9-11 AM. This life-saving training is open to all OHIO Chillicothe students, faculty, and staff.

What is QPR?
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer—three simple yet powerful steps that anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Just as CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver save lives in emergencies, QPR training equips you to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and take action to help someone in need.

In this free training, participants will be certified as QPR Gatekeepers.

AS A CERTIFIED QPR GATEKEEPER YOU WILL LEARN TO:
1. Recognize the warning signs of suicide
2. Increase awareness of stigma and understand suicide as a public health issue
3. Know how to offer hope
4. Know how to access local and national referral resources
5. Know how to get help and save a life

By participating in this training, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to support a friend, colleague, or loved one in crisis. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.

Say "Yes" to being a lifeline. Join us on March 6!
