 ring students\, colleagues\, and the community will be retiring at the end
  of this academic year. Over her time at Ohio University\, she has been a 
 University Professor\, a Presidential Research Scholar\, a Top Faculty New
 smaker\, and an amazing colleague. Amongst her vast service to the Univers
 ity\, Jellison has served as history department chair\, director of the Ma
 ster of Social Science Program\, an officer in Phi Beta Kappa\, a leader i
 n the Margaret Boyd Scholars Program. She has dedicated considerable effor
 t to making Athens a better community\, including serving on the League of
  Women Voters. The event is open to any university community member or alu

 ’s history at Ohio University. It is a wonder tribute that will keep bot
 h Katherine and her mother's legacy alive for future generations.
