Join us on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. for a webinar highlighting rural healthcare infrastructure, access and health disparities.

Ensuring access to medical services in rural areas can significantly improve health outcomes and reduce disparities. State-wide improvement is possible by identifying and sharing the most effective strategies being used by local partners to address the distinct care needs of rural communities. 

Speakers will discuss unique health equity challenges in a rural context, how policy change can address challenges in rural healthcare access, and strategies for local and state policymakers to address workforce and specialist shortages in rural areas.
