Join Sustainable Infrastructure Hub Coordinator Dr. Sarah Davis for a seminar titled Organic Waste Management Strategies that Generate Value for Campus and Community.
The panel discussion will include current and prospective strategies for waste management in our community. Community and campus leaders will share their approaches to organic waste management as well as opportunities to develop new processes that reduce environmental impacts and increase the value of waste processing. Composting, recycling, and new technologies that generate marketable products from waste will be discussed. Student perspectives on opportunities and challenges for adopting new waste management strategies will also be shared.
