Do you have a substantial writing project looming—such as a dissertation chapter, journal article, book manuscript, or grant proposal? Writing can often be an isolating process, but it doesn't have to be. Join us for The Write Time, a dedicated writing community designed to provide structure, accountability, and peer support to help you make consistent progress towards achieving your writing goals.

The Write Time is designed as an inclusive, interdisciplinary, collaborative, and supportive space for Patton College faculty and students to engage in scholarly writing during spring semester 2025-26. The community kicks off with an in-person event on January 23, 2026, 9:00 AM - 1:55 PM in Patton 209. Th kick-off provides the foundation for a productive and sustainable scholarly writing journey. Participants will engage in community-building exercises, articulate specific writing goals, and acquire a toolkit of core strategies for maintaining a consistent and productive writing habit.

The Write Time participants will continue their scholarly writing journey through weekly virtual writing sessions for the remainder of the semester on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:00 AM.
