Add to calendarPresented by Liz Pahl. Liz Pahl is a producer, project manager and storyteller. She currently serves as Associate Director for Event Management in Ohio University’s Conference and Event Services department.
The themes of Liz’s work for the past two decades are grounded in storytelling and developing experiences bigger than one’s self. From organizing Commencement for thousands of OHIO graduates and their families, to writing and performing songs, and managing many different projects at once, Liz thrives off of work that makes a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Currently Liz’s passion project is developing a documentary film series on four incredible Athens Ohio matriarchs: Dr. Francine Childs, Ada Woodson Adams, Dr. Dru Riley Evarts and Carol Kuhre. This talk will center around the importance of documenting women’s stories in their own words, and what you learn about yourself in the process.
