Dr. Granello is a Professor of Counselor Education at The Ohio State University and a 2018 Fellow of the American Counseling Association. She is Founding Director of The Ohio State University Suicide Prevention Program, the largest comprehensive campus suicide prevention program in the United States. She has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals, has made over 350 international, national, and state presentations and has secured over $6 million in funding for suicide prevention. She is co-author of six books, including three on suicide prevention and intervention. In 2011, she received the OSU Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching, the highest teaching honor given by the University.
