The pressures of medical school can greatly impact a student’s mental health and well-being. During this workshop, we will share insights on how impostor syndrome in medical education may affect a student's perception of themselves. We will also explore how depression, anxiety, and/or low self-esteem correlate with imposter syndrome. Students can offer their own anecdotes on how they take steps toward improving their own struggles with imposter syndrome. Presenters will offer insight into ways to challenge imposter syndrome thinking.
