This interactive art piece encourages viewers to add a handprint or a few to the canvas to create a collage of hands. This aim of this artwork is to educate the community on violence and how sometimes one may not know it’s going on in the world around them. Each hand added to the canvas belongs to a person but the identity of such is unknown, much like prehistoric cave art across the globe. The many hands painted thousands of years ago are saying “I’m here. I am a person. I exist.”
