##prelaw #lawyer #lawjusticecultureWho Should Draw The Lines? A Discussion with Former Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor
Former Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor was elected to the Supreme Court of Ohio in 2003, giving the Court its first ever female majority. She went on to become the first female Chief Justice in Ohio history and was the longest serving woman to hold statewide office. She was part of the majority that declared that Ohio' redistricting maps violated the Ohio Constitution. She now is working to end gerrymandering in Ohio through her work with Citizens Not Politicians.
Her visit is hosted by the Center for Law, Justice & Culture, Ohio University Women's Center, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, OIP-u, and Undergraduate Black Law Students Association.
