 CULUM for adults is aimed at anyone who interacts with youth\, such as chu
 rch youth group leaders\, teachers\, 4-H leaders\, coaches/volunteers of y
 outh sports\, etc.\n\nRecognize the potential risk factors and warning sig
 ns of a variety of mental health challenges common among adolescents\, inc
 luding depression\, anxiety\, psychosis\, eating disorders\, ADHD\, disrup
 tive behavioral disorders\, and substance use disorders.\n\n \n\nUse a fiv
 e-step action plan to help a young person in crisis connect with appropria
 te professional help.\n\n \n\nInterpret the prevalence of various mental h
 ealth disorders in youth within the United States and the need for reduced
  negative attitudes in communities.\n\n \n\nApply knowledge of the appropr
 iate professional\, peer\, social\, and self-help resources available to h
 elp a young person with a mental health problem treat and manage the probl
 em and achieve recovery.\n\n \n\nAssess their own views and feelings about
  youth mental health problems and disorders.
