At Ohio University we offer two distinct honors experiences – the Honors Tutorial College (HTC) and the OHIO Honors Program (OHP) – both designed to invite curiosity, encourage collaboration and ensure personalized experiences for every participating student. Students pursuing one of our highly competitive HTC degrees, and those working toward an honors-designated diploma through OHP together make up the larger OHIO Honors community.

Based on the centuries-old models of Oxford and Cambridge, the Honors Tutorial College is the oldest degree-granting college of its kind in the United States. HTC students design their own educational journey in partnership with accomplished faculty mentors across 30+ programs of study.
